My Aunt Clara and cousin Ryan were in town for a couple of days this week. They were visiting from San Antonio. My mom took off work so she could come and play with us while they were here. Here she is helping Everett color. Everett loves to color! He also loves to eat crayons so you have to watch him!

We tried think of some fun things to do while Clara and Ryan were here. Luckily they were pretty easy to please and were content sitting around the house and playing with the kids during most of their visit. We did have some local NC BBQ for dinner one night since they're used to Texas BBQ. And one day we decided to brave the heat and go walk around Old Salem and have lunch.
Nana helped Makena pump water at the well. Megan got to pump, too. There just aren't any pictures because I helped her. :)
We went in a couple of shops and let the girls get these cute fans. Megan kept saying she was Mulan (if you don't know who this is, it is a Chinese Disney Princess who is often seen with a fan.) :)
Here they are with my 20 year old cousin, Ryan, their 2nd cousin. As you can tell, he's not too pumped about the picture taking.
Nana gave the girls their sweet dresses.
We really enjoyed our visit with Clara and Ryan! Somehow I didn't manage to get a picture of Clara. If I get some pics from her I'll post them later. Here are the monkeys before we headed home. Everett was ready to pass out. He was such a good sport!
