CFA Fire Safety Night

On Tuesday, we went to Chick-fil-a's family night. They were promoting their new spicy sandwich and had firemen and a fire truck there. We also said goodbye to the Smith family on Tuesday. They're finishing residency and are moving to Texas.

Father's Day

We had some friends over for a cook-out on Father's Day. It was super hot but the kids enjoyed playing outside anyway.

It was so hot that some of the guys took their shirts off. Phil decided to wear the Bjorn shirtless. I told him I thought it was something you would see a dad doing at a Nascar race. I need to re-watch Ricky Bobby to make sure there isn't a guy who looks like this. Phil is just missing a Nascar trucker hat and maybe a dip. "I'd love to sign your baby!" :)

Future Harvard Freshman, already?

We took Makena to Boston when she was a baby. While there, we bought her a romper that says Future Harvard Freshman. The first pic is of Makena wearing said romper at the beach when she was 6 or 7 months old. (I'm pretty sure she's 7 months because we usually went to the beach the last week of August.) Makena looks like a skinny baby compared to Ev. And she's sitting up. Ev has to work on that skill a little bit more.

Phil's Day

Princess Dance Camp Performance

The performance for Makena's Princess Dance Camp was Friday. You could tell she was a little nervous in front of the crowd, although she wouldn't admit it. But she did great and had a fantastic time the whole week. There are quite a few pictures but what can I say? I'm a proud Mama. :)
