I think I'm going to try posting some of the kids projects we do on the blog. The kids love doing arts and crafts and we're always looking for something fun to do to stay busy. If you're looking for something fun and easy to do to keep your kids busy this summer you can try some of these things too!
Megan did bubble art one day at preschool. I asked her teacher how they did it and she said they mixed a little paint into the bubble container. I thought it sounded easy enough so we gave it a shot. We had a hard time getting our bubbles to land on the paper each time so we let some of our paint drip off of the bubble wand onto the paper some, as well.
Everett was very interested in this project.
In retrospect, this should have been a nap time project. Everett ended up knocking over one of our containers of bubbles. :)
This is how Makena's turned out. We used 3 different colors but you could use as many as you want. We always have plenty of bubbles around here from birthday parties and other events so this was a good project for us. Make sure your bubble container isn't too full or your paint won't mix in well. I used crayola paint since it's washable. Just squirt a little in, put the lid back on and shake it up.
