We took the kids to see Thomas the Train at the NC Transportation Museum. Everett loves Thomas so of course we thought he would love it and it would be a fun trip.
We were wrong. It was pretty much a disaster.
We did take a picture with Thomas to prove we had been there.
And they held it together long enough to go see a few things at the museum before we left.
We love our smiley little, Finley. She seriously smiles all the time. Such a sweetie!
As you can see, she's been working hard on her double chin. :)
Makena had been asking to have her ears pierced for quite a while. She beat us down and we finally let her do it. We took her to the Piercing Pagoda at the mall and she chose a pair of small, red, flower earrings.
She didn't cry at all! And as you can, see she was very proud of herself.
Our girls love the jumpy thing at the mall. We often have a hard time taking them to the mall because they think they're supposed to do it every time. This time, Everett decided he wanted to jump too. He showed some interest once before but freaked out when they started buckling him in. This time he went for it! He looks a little nervous here...
He smiled and laughed the entire time!
We took the kids to the Dixie Classic Fair one Wednesday after Makena got out of dance. We didn't stay long because it started to rain and was just way too crowded. Everett and Finley slept almost the entire time we were there. Makena and Megan had fun at the petting zoo and riding a couple of rides.
Phil's Aunt Carol was in town and came along with us. The camel liked her!
Finley is a thumb sucker! She loves her pacifier but if it falls out while she's sleeping she will quickly find her thumb.

Here is your friendly neighborhood Spiderman! Ev loves this costume. It is really too small to wear clothes underneath but he demands to wear it anyway. He calls the mask his "glasses." And he especially enjoys wearing this costume to the bus stop.

The changing table that we have for Finley in our office has these rails on either side. Finley always holds on to them when she's having her diaper changed. I think it's so cute!

We always do the photo sculptures at preschool. They turned out really great this year! I was surprised because we had an incredibly busy day and were doing them after school so Makena could be included. Some of you may be receiving a Christmas ornament that looks like this...
