Our neighborhood has the best parties for kids. More than anything, the kids enjoy going and playing with their friends. I don't think little Finley felt good the day of the party. She was recovering from the croup. Most everyone around here has had a virus, cold or something recently. Makena was a dancer from the Disney show Shake it up, Megan was a fairy called Bloom, Everett was Thomas the Train and Finley was our little flower.

She fell apart while we were buckling her into her car seat so we decided to let her stay home. Phil stayed home with Finley while I took the big 3 to the party.
There were plenty of kids to run around and play with! Below are Cora, Erin, Megan, Makena, Ella, Everett and Lauren.
Everett was kind of tired so we hung out together while the girls ran around and played.
Mr. Independent determined to carry his plate by himself.

Makena, Megan and Everett were all super excited when Halloween finally rolled around! Unfortunately, Megan had been sick and still wasn't 100%. She was asleep on the couch about 5 minutes before we walked out the door to go trick-or-treating. She pulled herself together and said she felt well enough to go trick-or-treating. Everett was a character from the movie Cars 2 named Finn McMissile.
Our first stop was G-Dada and Patty's house! Patty had made special goody bags for Makena, Megan and Everett.
Everett and I brought up the rear of our little gang.
It was a chilly night but little Finley stayed nice and warm in her flower costume and sleeping bag.
Megan decided to dress as a unicorn on Halloween night.
Megan and Everett were getting worn out so we decided to head back home to give out candy. Phil took Makena out to a few more houses.
Makena, Ella, Erin and Cooper stopped to trick-or-treat at our house before Makena finally called it a night.
