Megan recently got her very own library card. This is becoming a tradition for our kids when they turn 4. She was really excited about getting it and using it for the first time.
Little Everett saw me taking Megan's picture and wanted his picture taken, too. I told him to say cheese and instead he said, "Car!" That is all this boy thinks about right now. As you can see the library book he chose is called Things That Go. :)
Another new thing that has happened around here is Makena learning to ride her bike without training wheels! We've been slowly working on it over the past few months and she finally got it. She asked to have the training wheels taken off and was really determined to figure it out.
She usually wears a helmet.....I promise. This bike actually looks a little small for her in this picture. Maybe we'll upgrade her at some point.
We have another family member who is growing up, too. Phil's dad, or G-Dada as the kids call him, just turned 75. We had a fun family get together in Greensboro to celebrate his big day.
