Christmas: Part Two

Phil got the honor of being on call for Christmas this year. I was definitely not happy about it. The good thing is he won't have to work Christmas again for 4 or 5 years. We lucked up and he was able to be home the night of Christmas Eve to help with set up and assembly. And more importantly, he was able to stay home long enough to enjoy Christmas morning with the kids. My big fear was that he would miss Christmas morning and we were both glad that didn't happen. We had our Christmas tree in our empty dining room again this year. I don't know what we'll do once we get a dining room table. We won't be able to fit nearly as many toys in there! Here is a shot of everything before the kids got up and tore through it...
Santa brought a very nice keyboard to our little pianist, Makena.
They dumped their stockings out and went through them pretty quickly!
I wish Everett's eyes had been open in this picture. He was so excited when he saw Thomas! "Choo-choo" was the word of the day.
Santa brought Everett lots of cars and trucks so he was a very happy boy!
Makena also got a giant Snow White bear. Megan has a giant Pooh Bear and Makena had been wanting a giant Snow White for a long time. Santa was able to make a Snow White bear for her. If you're wondering, giant teddy bears wear a girls size 14-16. :)
Megan was excited when she saw the pillow pets. She also got a Lalaloopsy toy that she had "always wanted." Makena and Megan got Leap Pads this year, too!
This is where Everett stayed most of the day. He was a happy boy inside his Thomas tent with all of his cars and trucks.
The rest of our Christmas day was spent relaxing while playing with new toys and watching new movies. Phil was able to be home most of the day which was very nice. We hope your Christmas was as fun and merry as ours was!
