We went to the zoo yesterday! Makena and Megan loved seeing the animals. But they probably had just as much fun playing in the leaves and on the various sculptures throughout the zoo. We picked a terrific day to go. The weather was beautiful!

We ran into our friends Zette, Jack and Josie at the zoo. We didn't plan on meeting there, it just happened. It was a little funny since the zoo is about an hour away from home. I'm glad we found each other because the kids had a lot of fun playing together. I think they stopped caring about seeing the animals and just wanted to run around and play.
