We used Makena's "sick day" to go pick strawberries. We have been wanting to go for a couple of weeks but the rain has put a damper on all of our outdoor plans. It was a little muddy but that didn't stop us! Megan figured out what to do pretty fast. Although, she didn't care what kind of strawberries she put in her basket.....they could be red, green or half rotten, she didn't care. Makena picked a few strawberries and then decided she would rather talk about picking strawberries than actually pick them. Quite the talker, that one.
