Atlanta Part Two

This my friends, was the MVP of our Atlanta weekend. Finley was such a good baby!

 After the American Girl store we went back to the hotel to feed Finley and rest for a bit. After that we headed to the Georgia Aquarium.

The Aquarium has timed ticketing so after we got our tickets we had to wait until the time listed on the tickets to enter. It was really hot outside and there was a huge line over at the World of Coca-Cola so we were afraid things could fall apart on us. Luckily, the children's museum of Atlanta was right down the street. We walked right in and got in free thanks to our reciprocal membership. It was a little crazy in there which made me a little nervous when our kids tried to go in opposite directions.

 There was a fun tree house and fishing area in the little kids section. 

 And there was a big area with moon dough that the kids loved. 

 Finally it was time to go to the aquarium. Since the both the children's museum and aquarium were rather busy there aren't very many pictures at either place. We were too busy trying to navigate through the

crowds and see everything we wanted to see to take a lot of pictures.

Everett was on his own Finding Nemo quest. We did find him but weren't able to get a picture with him. :)

 At this point, Everett was getting pretty tired so we decided to head back to the hotel. We stopped and picked up dinner from The Varsity on the way. After dinner, they delivered another set of milk and cookies before bedtime. Here is a very tired Everett holding his new aquarium truck.

Our hotel package included breakfast at the hotel. It was a very nice breakfast buffet and they had a pink tablecloth on our table. I thought their eggs benedict was very good! Before heading home, we went to check out the new Legoland Discovery Center. Our kids love Legos and were very excited. I will say that I think it was overpriced but they did enjoy it.

 They had these Lego sculptures and people throughout the place...

 There was a very cool Lego version of Atlanta.

Then we loaded up and headed home. The kids had a really great time on our weekend trip. I'm glad that we took them because I'm sure they'll be out growing their American Girls before we know it. It broke my heart when Makena recently told Megan she could have her princess nightgowns. Makena absolutely loved Disney princesses and it makes me sad because that phase is over for her. These kids need to stop growing up so fast!
