Phil was actually able to make it to Donuts with Dad at preschool this year! Last year we were out of town and in years past it just wasn't possible. It's not like you can tell your attending physician...I'm going to be leaving for a bit to go eat donuts with my kids. But this time he was able to have his nurse block off some time in his clinic schedule to be there. Of course we wished Makena had been there, too, but Megan and Everett loved having special Daddy time.
