Gymnastics, Dance Camp & House

Makena went to Princess Dance Camp this week. She loved it! She had her performance today. They'll be a different blogpost for performance pics!

On Tuesday and Thursday, while Makena was at camp, Megan got to go to gymnastics. She had a ball! I'll probably have to enroll her in the fall. If you look at the pictures carefully, you'll notice a trend. Mr. Jeff is in pretty much every picture. Megan LOVED the gymnastics teacher, Mr. Jeff. About 2 minutes into class she became his shadow and his biggest fan.

Megan and I went and snuck a peek at Makena during her camp.

I let Makena stay for lunch bunch one day at camp. Here she is with Carly, Joiner, Ellison and Ellison's grandmother watching one of the Beethoven movies. Ellison would only stay for lunch bunch if her grandmother did. :)

Here are a few recent pics of the house. They're painting today! I love it when I go out there and there are a ton of guys hard at work! They've added the supports for the bar. I have to go look at the granite one last time on Monday and then they'll start making the countertops on Tuesday.

They installed the farmhouse sink. They needed to do it so the template for the granite would be right.

They are nearly done with the built-ins around the fireplace. There is now crown molding at the top. And today I picked out the doors for the cabinets. I hope to see the mantel soon!

Here is a pic of our front door. Notice the wainscoting on the side of the foyer. The wainscoting is now all up in the foyer and dining room.

They have the rails and screen up on the screened in portion of the deck.

And they have started working on the stairs coming off of the deck. We wanted a landing and I think it'll end up looking great and will be a little safer.
