Easter 2011

We had a very fun Easter Sunday. The day started with Easter baskets, of course. I love the buckets and liners the Easter Bunny used this year. I'm fairly certain he ordered them Classic Campbell. If I were the Easter Bunny I know that's where I would have gotten them! :)
Makena was so excited to get a big chocolate bunny! The girls will be eating their bunnies for days!
Here is Megan with her new Rapunzel doll. Megan loves all things Tangled. Pardon the silly pj's. The shirt she is wearing is an old shirt that Phil wore when he was little. She usually pairs it with whatever pajama pants that are lying on top in the drawer. This time they just happened to be Christmas pajama pants! :)
Megan lovin' all her Tangled goodies...
Makena checking out her new Disney snow globe...
And finally, Big E, finally decided to join us. We got him dressed and brought him downstairs to check out his Easter basket. Thanks to Aunt Carol for the kids' wonderful Easter outfits!
Isn't he a little stud muffin? His sweet little suit has pinstripes in case you can't tell.
 Easter morning Risky Business style...
The girls got these bunny teeth suckers in their baskets...
After the Easter basket fun, we got dressed and headed to church. There was a craft, Bible story and egg hunt during the Sunday school hour. The nice lady who told the story told the long version of the Easter story but the kids were all incredibly patient.
The Easter egg hunt was on the playground, how fun is that?
This is the best family Easter pic we could get. Everett was just too interested in the commotion on the playground to look at the camera.
I tried to get a group pic when we got home from church.  But Everett still wasn't very interested in having his picture taken.
One of our friends at church said he thought Everett looked like a mobster in his suit. We had quite a few people stop and tell us how cute he was during the egg hunt. Of course we had to agree with them. :)
Popaw came to visit and have Easter lunch with us. We had a fairly nontraditional beef tenderloin with corn on the cob and loaded baked potatoes.
Everett wrestled Popaw for his glasses.
After lunch, we changed into play clothes and went outside to hunt Easter eggs. I hid them for the girls a few times and then I let them take turns hiding them for each other. They really enjoyed that.
The egg hunter had to sit in the rocking chair facing the wall while the eggs were being hidden.
Makena would practically lead Megan straight to the eggs she had hidden.
I took Makena and Megan to see the movie, Hop, while Everett was napping. They were really excited to see the movie. It was the perfect movie to watch on Easter Sunday since it's about the Easter Bunny!
The weather was so nice on Sunday that when we came home from the movie we went outside to play some more. Everett had woken up from his nap so he came outside, too. He loves playing outside.
Oh no he didn't! I had to go fish a pink egg shell out of Everett's mouth right after I took the following picture.
Everett loves his little car and Makena really likes pushing him. Weee!
Hope y'all had a Happy Easter, too!
