The moving truck showed up on August 18th. We didn't even sleep in the house for the first few nights, it was such a mess. There were boxes everywhere and we couldn't even find our sheets and towels. Things are looking a little better these days but I'm having to come to grips with the fact that it will be quite a while until we are completely settled in. We've had to buy a new bedroom suit for Megan, a couch for the living room and a breakfast table. And we're trying to slowly piece the rest of the house together. It's a big house and we have a lot of fun ideas but we're trying to do it all gradually.
Makena is playing soccer this fall. We took her to the skills clinic they had before the season started.
Doesn't she look so tall and grown up? Maybe it's just the soccer socks. :)
Megan is a little young for soccer but she still had fun kicking the ball around.
Makena and Megan listened to Joel for directions for what to do next.
I took the girls to get their haircut before preschool started. Megan wanted Mrs. Amber to curl her hair. Megan has suddenly became a girly girl, wanting her hair fixed, nails polished and lipstick (chapstick) on.
And here is our little munchkin, Everett. This kid is growing up way too fast. For some reason he finds this position comfortable. He has fallen asleep in the Jumperoo more than once.
