Wake Forest's first football game of the season was this past Saturday. We took Makena with us to the tailgate and game. We decided we would wait and take Megan to a game once the temperature cooled down. Unfortunately, the Deacons lost 21-24. Our boys have a lot of work to do before they face Stanford this weekend. Despite the outcome, we had a lot of fun tailgating and were happy to see the return of football.

How do you entertain a 3 year old during a football game? Makena packed a backpack full of play-doh, coloring books, crayons, books, stickers, and pom-poms. She watched a little bit of football, too. She also enjoyed the marching band and the "pom-pom girls" as she called them.
