Our church had Vacation Bible School this week. The theme was Camp E.D.G.E. E.D.G.E is an acronym for Experience and Discover God Everywhere! This was Makena's first time participating in VBS and she really enjoyed it. I'm not sure how much she learned but she had a great time and looked forward to going to Bible School everyday. Megan spent all of her VBS time in the nursery with the exception of an hour or two. I made the mistake of sticking my head in the nursery one day and she spotted me and would not let me go. Luckily, we were nearing the end of the day and she did okay tagging along with our group. She really enjoyed singing and dancing with the big kids. I volunteered as a counselor for Makena's group. She told me that she liked me being her "teacher". Each of the groups had an animal name and Makena's group was called the Rabbits (which we loved since we are clearly a rabbit family now.)
