This is how we do it...

I was a little worried about giving Megan a bath while she has the cast. But, we've already gotten used to it. The first time she took a bath with the cast, we just used a bread bag and tape. I was worried that some of our grocery bags would have holes in them so I bought some cast covers at the medical supply store. They are just long plastic gloves made for adults. They have two straps that we use to secure it to her arm. We usually wrap her arm with a hand towel for an extra bit of protection. Megan often gets to wear one of these gloves at meal time, too (just without the hand towel underneath). Some foods are just too messy to let her eat them without covering up the cast.
