They took Megan's cast off today!! We are all thrilled to be rid of that thing! We are going to keep the little cast as a souvenir (but I may remove some of the stinky batting from the inside). We have a check-up in 4 months, but other than that we are good to go! Megan only cried a little when they were taking the cast off. That saw was awfully loud.
She is still guarding her right arm. The PA told us we should expect her to be sore for a couple of days. Megan was clearly glad to have the cast off. I put it in her lap a couple of times to have her look at it and try to get a picture. Both times she immediately threw it in the floor.
