Megan had her final Preschool Christmas Program. She wanted to wear her "Mrs. Claus dress" even though she wore it last year. It's obviously one of her favorites. :) Popaw, GDada and Patty and Phil were all there. I took Makena out of school for the program and lunch and I knew she was really excited to be there, too. Megan was really cute and sang really well. She knew all of the moves and had a big smile on her face the whole time. After the program we went out for lunch at Jason's Deli....Megan's choice.:)

Makena had her Christmas piano recital in early December. She played Jingle Bells, Silent Night and Jolly Old St. Nicholas. She did a great job. She is still really enjoying piano and her teacher, Mrs. Kevin is so much fun.
Last year the girls were given a book about The Nutcracker. The loved it and once they started seeing advertisements for the Nutcracker put on by the NC School of the Arts they asked to go.

Makena and Megan each got a new Nutcracker. They loved the performance. We may have started a new tradition!
