Makena's birthday fell on a Thursday this year so we had to work our celebrations around the school day. She had pancakes and eggs on the red plate before school. Then Megan, Everett and I took a cookie cake to school for her class. Makena was really excited to celebrate with her class. And Megan and Everett liked being able to eat cookie cake with the big kids. Makena got to wear this special birthday hat all day....
Everett loves Makena. He went and gave "Nena" a big hug at her seat.
Makena decided to eat dinner at Midtown Cafe & Dessertery aka "the caterpillar place." After dinner, we enjoyed birthday Krispy Kremes and present opening.
She was very happy with her Easy Bake Oven!
All 3 of the kiddos have lap desks now. They all decided to pull them out the other day and I thought they looked pretty cute.
