The weekend before Halloween we enjoyed a visit from Phil's cousin, Judy. It was a short visit but we were glad to have her. As you can see the kids loved having her, too.
I was in charge of Everett's Halloween party at preschool. Everett loves cookies so I took some Halloween cookies along with some crackers, juice and goody bags. I was afraid Everett would fall apart and not let me leave again if I came to school for the party. So I left my camera with his teachers and they took a few pics for me.
They all look so big sitting at the table together...
The other little boy is named, Harrison. When Phil saw this picture he said, "Who's his twin?"
We made two jack-o-lanterns this year. We found the Monster's Inc. patterns at Target and the girls couldn't settle on one.
For some reason, Celia is Megan's favorite character from Monsters Inc. She said she wants a Celia doll for Christmas and I'm not sure if they're even available.
Makena went with Mike Wazowski
Here's the trio before heading to our neighborhood Halloween party. Makena and Megan chose their costumes. I had ordered an Elmo costume for Everett but it didn't work out. He liked looking at it and touching it but couldn't stand having it on his head so I sent it back. I had found the vintage-style Chicago Bulls sweat suit at a consignment sale for $3 so we just went with that. It also allowed him to carry a ball around which he was all for.
Megan was very specific when she chose her costume. She wanted to be Ariel "with a tail." There are human Ariel costumes out there and she wanted to make it clear that this was the one she wanted. And she had to have the red hair. She went into full princess mode when she got in her costume.
Constant motion...
They loved the sweets at the Halloween party!
The girls enjoyed the games this year...
